Vegan Street Fair
I had a fantastic time being an official blogger at the Vegan Street Fair in North Hollywood today. I met tons of amazing companies, ate the most delicious food, and had a fabulous morning out in the sunshine.
Here's a list of my favorites from the fair:
I love this company. All their food is delicious but I'm particularly fond of all their jackfruit goodies. Pictured: jackfruit tacos with coleslaw and chipotle mayo.
Not only is this an awesome market, they have an incredible deli as well. I tried their mini Mac slider - a mini version of their Big Mac burger.
It doesn't get much better than vegan Banh Mi. This delicious version with jackfruit is one of the best I've ever had.
I LOVE Ethiopian food and this vegan Ethiopian burrito is just awesome. It's got the right amount of spice and a great texture.
I'm properly obsessed with brownies and this German chocolate version is my all time favorite. It pairs perfectly with some strong Stumptown Coffee. They have donuts, cupcakes, and more so think of them when catering your next party!
To round out an afternoon of eating, I checked out some of the clothing and accessory retailers.
Not only do they have cute shirts and totes to show off your vegan pride, they also have awesome vegan faux leather bags, belts, jewelry, and more!
