Summer Dresses

For my birthday last week I decided to treat myself to a lovely boho chic Summer dress. I found this romantic gem at Revolve and fell head over heels for it. I know it's a long sleeve maxi dress and that seems counter intuitive for summer but it keeps the sun off my skin and it's so light and flowy. The sheer panel in the middle, super high front slit, and crochet paneling throughout make it breezy and add a lot of interest to this monotone dress. However, it's the tassels that make the dress for me. I'm not sure what it is about tassels but I adore them.

I think these chic bohemian dresses are so perfect for Summer 2016 and festival season! They're really perfect for any occasion as they can be dressed up or dressed down and they're always in style. More than that though, I find these dresses, in my experience at least, make me feel extra special when I wear them. I know that sounds silly and vein and it's not the clothes that make the person but there's a little extra confidence boost I feel when I put on this dress. Either way, I felt great on my birthday and have never been stopped so many times by people to compliment my outfit. Score.
