Minimal Summer

I've been in a monochrome mood lately toying with bold minimal outfits perfect for the Summer heat. This open back deep v-neck dress from Vivian Chan is my a fantastic versatile piece (it even has pockets!). It can be worn alone (as I have here) or with pants or leggings for cooler weather. Dresses like this are wonderful because they're perfect for any situation dressy or casual so I feel good about investing in them.

For my purposes here, I paired this dress with vegan black buckle front slides and a faux leather wrap choker from Vanessa Mooney. Slides and chokers are two Summer trends I love. Slides are a great effortless way to add some oomph to any outfit. Here, these witchy pointed toe flats give this outfit lots of drama. Chokers are another great versatile accessory as you can wrap the choker up completely so the ends don't dangle for a more sophisticated look or leave the ends dangling for a casual bohemian trend.
