The "IT" Boots for Fall

The latest ankle boot trend for Fall is this sleek pointed toe boot with a wooden heel and studded edge. The Casse Boot from Jessica Buurman totally nailed this trend and did it WITHOUT leather! These synthetic boots are really comfortable especially for their deceptive height (which I love). The sleek silhouette of these boots lends itself perfectly to all style preferences from bohemian to minimal. The gold studs add a great layer of visual interest without being overbearing; they're super chic statement boots that will quickly become your go-to Fall accessory.

I paired my Casse boots here with two of my favorite looks for Fall 2016 using the same skinny faux leather pants from BLANKNYC for both outfits. I like the idea of having staple pieces like these boots and pants so you can mix them into different looks to get the most out of your wardrobe without spending major bucks on new pieces.

First, I threw on a ivory minimal blouse from Sir The Label that has some fantastic tie detail on the low neck as well as on the sleeves. This sort of top is great for Spring and Summer as well but makes the transition to Fall quite nicely when layered under a short jacket or over some faux leather skinnies like I did here. For the second look, I went more casual. I paired a dark green trench coat over a black cotton henley. Dark green is another big trend for Fall so investing in a timeless trench in a bold color will bring some great options to your wardrobe. Oh, and the bag is another on-trend piece from LaBante London. This almost doctor bag is a great vegan piece that gives you all the utility you need along with the two-tone minimal trend that's been taking over.

Try these outfit ideas out for yourself mixing pieces from your current wardrobe with one or two special statement pieces for a super "right now" look for Fall.
