The Slip Dress

The slip dress is big right now. Slip dresses vary in length and fabric ranging from silk mini dresses to long velvet dresses and everything in between. I opted for this lacy number from NBD layered over a white cotton henley and paired with another Fall/Winter trend I love, the sock boot. The sock boots I have here are velvet with a synthetic sole, rounded toe, and a four inch heel. Velvets are also really popular this season so these boots hit two trends in one piece. Plus, sock boots might just be the most comfortable boots I've ever worn so bonus points for that. Lastly, if you've followed my blog for awhile, you'll recognize the bag from A Harmless Project. The bucket bag is from Ethique 212 and not only is it cruelty free, but it's a style that will always be on trend.
