A Look for Valentine's Day to Fit Your Plans

1. It’s still cold in February

Don't get me wrong, I love an elegant red dress but this year I've been falling in love with pink. 3. Dressy Separates
If you're not looking for a dress for Valentine's Day, I recommend dressy separates. They're more versatile because you can mix and match them with other pieces of your existing wardrobe to get the most bang for your investment. A great minimal, slinky cami - you can change this to a blouse if you so desire - will give you a lot of options and is great for everything from a fancy night out to a modern work look when paired with a cardigan or blazer. To pair with the cami, I choose a very romantic skirt but if skirts aren't your thing, grab a pair of sleek trousers.
