Vegan Street Fair 2016!
This past weekend was the 2016 Vegan Street Fair in North Hollywood. I look forward to this event every year and this year it was bigger and better than ever! With food trucks, vendors from all over, music, clothing retailers, and more, it was an epic morning/afternoon well spent.
I dove into my street fair experience with the Buffalo and Cheesesteak burritos from the Nom Eats Vegan Food Truck and I can honestly say that I'll be dreaming of these for a long, long time. So perfectly delicious! I then grabbed a BBQ Mushroom Slider with a side of Mac n Cheese and a fresh, young coconut to wash it all down. I stopped by the Califia Farms booth for a mocha pick me up and got free impromptu haikus about elephants! Finally, no visit would be complete without some vegan donuts and cookies from Donut Friend and The Shugah Mama respectively (not pictured because I devoured them immediately).
All in all, I love this event because it raises awareness about veganism in a fun and inviting way. Everyone has a blast and enjoys some delicious cruelty-free eats!
