Vegan Makeup

I get asked quite often what makeup I use and what brands I prefer so I put together this post to detail all my must have vegan makeup products.

1. Cover FX - All My Foundation Needs

I have quite a few favorites from Cover FX but I'll highlight the few products I use regularly.

I like to use a combo of their Illuminating Primer and BB Cream for everyday wear; they're light weight, fairly sheer, and don't dry out my skin.

If I'm going to be in front of the camera or going out for a glamed up night on the town, I like to use their Mattifying Primer with their Oil Free Liquid Foundation. It has more coverage without being heavy and keeps shine to a minimum.

2. Lime Crime - Eyes and Lips

Lime Crime covers my liquid eyeliner needs. I usually use their black lquid eyeliner but sometimes I like to use their silver and gold liners as a light weight shadow on my lids for a little sparkle and shine (you can apply them as light or heavy as you like to achieve the desired effect).

For lips, Lime Crime has my all time favorite colection of colors. I love ther Velvetine collection and use Salem most often.

3. 100 Percent Pure - Details and Mascara

If I only have a few minutes to get ready in the morening, I always apply mascara and I only use 100 Percent Pure. I have all the mascara colors in their range but find myself using the Black Tea and Dark Chocolate ones the most. Their Blackberry and Blueberry are wonderful as well and all their mascaras smell divine! They're subtle colors that make a big impact.
